Design and Implementation of Wireless Mobile Sensing Platform

چکیده

In order to promote participatory researches using mobile phones, it is important to implement and show various application services by using existing mobile phones and wireless sensors. In this position paper, we describe experiences in developing a platform for mobile sensing services by using user’s everyday mobile phone which communicates with surrounding wireless sensors. We first describe concept of the mobile sensing platform: CONSORTS-S. Then, we show a healthcare service as a prototype application of the CONSORTS-S. The service aims to maintain and promote users’ conditions by monitoring their biological information, such as heartbeats, postures, and movements.
